Three spies are landed in Scotland

Two men and a woman are landed by a rubber dinghy on the coast of Banffshire after being flow from Norway in a seaplane. They are arrested within a few hours of their arrival. Their conduct has attracted suspicion, both men speak English with a strong foreign accent and have clumsily forged documents. When searched, one man has in his possession: a wireless set, a loaded Mauser automatic, an electric torch marked "made in Bohemia", a list of bomber and fighter stations in East Anglia, £327 in English notes, and a segment of German sausage.

Both men - one German, the other Swiss - are later hanged.
