The raiders dropped 16 big H.E. bombs, estimated 1000 lbs weight each of which si Once Shelter trench recieved a direct ht and two others hear hits. The total casualties were 39 killed and 26 wounded and shocked. All power, gas and water mains were severed and all telephone lines running NORTH of the camp were severed in three places. Weather fair, cloud 4/10ths - 7/10ths at 1500' - 3000', wind 10-15 m.p.h. N. Westerly, visibility 5-10 miles. |
